Update ...

I'm struggling with breastfeeding and formula. He still seems to be hungry every two hours and he's generally getting 2 ounces of formula at every feeding. We go to the doctor for his 2 month check up so we will check weight and see what's up.

Please post a note after your Dr. visit....my firm belief is that a content, well rested (in relative terms) mom is important for baby boy. Nothing about child rearing ever seems to go quite the way I planned. Who would have thought one who loves construction and another who doesn't talk? If you need to do more formula for your sleep patterns and his growth patterns, please don't let that be a source of anguish. You can breastfeed and feed formula together indefinitely.
