Life has been ridiculously crazy lately. We've had Zachariah's 2nd birthday. The entire month of May was a bad sleep month for Zachariah. We found out that Madison is officially moving to live with us full time in August. Just recently, Zachariah started at the daycare center that I work at (finally!!). We didn't have a good first day (in part because Mommy is our teacher), but I have high hopes for Thursday and Friday. We're hoping to start potty training soon, after some time to get accustomed to the new environment at school - they have a big potty "push" in the 2's room. Zachariah already tells me and Jerry when he is going poop - just not pee.
He's still in love with Cars and can name most of the main characters. We have a new found love of trains, whether it's Thomas the Tank Engine or the new Disney cartoon Chuggington. He loves to ask, "what's that?" for everything and is becoming bossy. Sunday when we were trying to leave for church, Connor and Jerry were lagging behind and Zachariah says, "Bubbo, Dada outside!", when that didn't work he got Connor's attention and pointed to the door when he said outside. It was quite funny. On a not so funny note, Zachariah knows how to unlock the doors, both the doorknob and deadbolt lock, so this weekend was spent buying and installing doorknob covers. He hasn't figured them out yet, but I think it's just a matter of time.
