Once home we gave him his gifts (no wrapping) - Moo, Baa, La La La by Sandra Boynton and a LeapFrog learning drum. He likes that the drum makes noise, but would rather throw it than use it correctly.
We mixed up our dinner order and had cake first -- white confetti cake with white icing. He enjoying beating his tray and smushing it up first. Then he decided to grab a handful and shove it in his mouth. Here are some pictures from last night:
