6 Month Well Baby Check Up

Well, let's see. HE'S NOT BIG!!! He's just the right size according to AAP and CDC percentile charts. He's 27 inches long, 17.6 pounds and his head has a circumference of 17. We're trying some allergy meds for a persistent cough that doesn't have any ear infection, red throat, nose irritation to go along with it. I asked the doctor about sleeping through the night since we haven't mastered that skill yet. He suggested switching from stage 1 baby foods to stage 2 baby foods and then also feeding him solids before bed. He also said that if he's eating a full bottle (5oz) in the middle of the night, he's probably hungry and to feed him. Hopefully that will shorten our night time wakenings. He also said he saw a swollen gum, so we're looking for our first tooth!
